Taco Tuesday everyday 12-5pm, ya can't beat it! There are 3 street tacos to choose from. We had the pulled pork and chicken. Both good, but we preferred the pork, full on flavor and tasty, only $2! Frozen margarita $4! I also ordered the Mercado chopped salad- it was one of the best salads I have ever had. Fresh greens, tons of chopped avocado, pomegranate seeds, black beans, tomatoes, tortilla strips, and a chipotle vinaigrette. I absolutely loved the vinaigrette! It has a little kick to it. The salad is topped with cotija cheese, but I opted for no cheese and dressing on side.

Service was great and we enjoyed eating dinner outside.
We had a great experience, would totally come back!

Northern California: Have you ever had a swirl from Aqui's?
Las Vegas: Smashed a Fat Tuesday?

MI ALMITA IS THE SPOT OF WAIKIKI. The pre-swirled margaritas are amazingly delicious!! Definitely stop by at least for a drink! Smash 2 and you will have an amazing buzz! Shoutout to one of the managers, Max. He was so friendly, accommodating and had great customer service!! He showed us a warm Aloha welcome and were so grateful!

Tip: you can ask to try the flavors AND you can ask for tajin on the rim!!

Mi Almita in Waikiki is the best atmosphere, delicious tacos and salads, the best margaritas on Oahu and the most professional, personably friendly and fun staff!

We are recent local's in Hawaii and Mi Almita is becoming the standard for my wife and I.  Our friends love the atmosphere as well.

RJ has a well trained staff at Mi Almita.  What makes the atmosphere complete is Marianna's great smile, Brendan Texas football, Sean professional with muscles, Nepal Michael, Friendly Shinay, Margarita Josh, McKinley Michael, and RJ with the cleanest white shoes in Waikiki!

Can't wait to visit again next week!  :-)

I finally got to try this! I missed the food tasting and was so jealous of all food that the yelpers have tried!

I convinced my whole family to eat at the Food Hall of International Market Place on a Saturday night where it was so busy. Hahaha luckily, i was able to get a table for all 5 of us!

So i stood in line for what I thought was Mi Almita! I mean it is Mi Almita, but the  food hall side would only have trio tacos and quesadilla. So i walked around it and saw the restaurant behind it! Whew! I would've wasted 15 minutes standing there for nothing!

They were packed, of course. But i just wanted to get mine to go so i can sit with my family

I ordered the fish tacos and calamari.

It was quite of a wait, but i just thought that you know, it's Saturday, they're busy, everyone's busy.

I patiently waited for my little bites of heaven.

Finally, it came. I hurriedly went to our table and opened my boxes.

Fish tacos were small, smaller than I expected! Hahaha but they were oh so good! And it came with only 2, i wish there were 3. I devoured it! I wish i ordered 2 orders. I'll remember that for next time.

The calamari is LOVE. It was fried perfectly with a delicious seasoning. It wasn't chewy and gummy, it was so good that I almost ate the whole thing too, it's meant for sharing. It came with 2 dipping sauces, a cilantro aioli, and a chipotle mayo. I prefer the chipotle sauce. It was little bites of goodness.

Overall, yea i will definitely come back and order the shrimp tacos, with more fish tacos, and more calamari, and definitely try the slushies!

I had walked by this place a few times and knew I would stop in one day.

There are several places to eat when walking down Kuhio in Waikiki.  Being a California native Mexican food is abundant and sooooo good.  Whenever I can get Mexican food on the island...I'm down.

Small place with about 7 tables and a small bar area.  Service was good but, when I sat down at the bar, I was handed a dirty menu and the area in front of me needed to be wiped down.  The messy counter not that big of a deal because I asked for it to be cleaned and it was done right away.  However, the dirty menu thing is a pet peeve and that's why I gave four stars.  Other than that, this place could become a regular stop for me.

Margarita party at this place and I count 5 or 6 of their best sellers ready to go (just add Tequila). Beer and tequila shots all available for the taking.  Multiple choices for tacos, as this was the focus of my visit.  I was feeling like having chicken but, decided on the pork tacos.  Meat was tender, flavorful and not to spicy.  I love spicy food but sometimes too hot doesnt taste good.  Anyway, tacos were topped with micro greens, slivers of radish and a charred lemon on the side.  Meal was really good and the tequila shots were even better.
